DCIM117GOPROSince 24th of april I’ve been training in the south of France in the region called PACA (Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur).  My first destination was Saint Tropez, where I took part in a local race – Tri Tropezien. The main reason for this race was familiarisation with open water swimming. Despite cold water (15th degrees) I was satisfied with my results, and could say my swimming pace is significantly higher then previously.

Currently I stay in Rousset, 20km far from Aix en Provence, but only 6km from the hardest part of the Ironman 70.3. Having riden many cycling races I know how important is to get to know with the course. Especially if we have to cope with steep, fast and curvy roads to finally gain an advance and not to crash 🙂 Here is a video where I speak polish, but I show one of the climbs I’ll be riding on sunday. Under the second link you may watch one of most difficult downhills on the bike course.

Rousset 032sI have to admit that beeing here in France is a bit thrilling for me. For many years I have been visiting this country, in love with the language, environment and a different culture. Not only once I was thinking of moving here for good or at least to try for a few years. This is why I want to share with you with my pics which are not only on a bike:) CLICK HERE
